The Citadel Foundation

Our Foundation was registered and recognized as a Charitable Trust in the year 2009. For the last 16 years we have been working primarily in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Our counselling and mentoring program for tomorrow’s leaders and influencers, livelihood training for underprivileged women, interventions to care for children in street situations, are helping to make the world a better place.

When we impact individual lives strategically, we initiate a ripple effect that positively transforms society. When we invest in lives, we don’t just transform one generation, we help lay the foundation for human flourishing for generations to come.

Mentoring & Counselling

Tomorrow’s change-makers and influencers are striving hard today to secure a rewarding career. Many aspire to a career in the Indian Civil Services, which is not only prestigious but also affords an opportunity to positively impact society. Tens of thousands of youngsters descend upon coaching institutes in Delhi every year, hoping to crack the “mother of all exams” that is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. There are many other competitive exams that youngsters come to Delhi to receive coaching for, so as to rise to the highest levels in their respective professions. The journeys of these aspirants are arduous and often very lonely one. The Citadel Foundation comes alongside aspirants to mentor and counsel them, to aid their mental wellbeing, keep up their motivation levels, and have a balanced perspective on life. The truth is, those who are successful in their quest and those who aren’t, equally need this support during this phase of their lives.

Livelihood Training for Women

The resilience of a woman who refuses to give up in the face of overwhelming odds is inspiring! She is willing to do what it takes to give herself and her children another chance at life - a life of dignity and self-reliance. Women who lose their husbands to alcoholism and even death, often lose their only source of sustenance. And when they attempt to redeem themselves, such destitute women are often the target of abuse and exploitation. The Citadel Foundation trains and empowers such women in Delhi with skills that help them find employment in safe and fulfilling work places. Today, many of these courageous women earn a decent living and are also educating their children.

Caring for Children

Thousands of children live on the streets of Delhi in unimaginably dangerous conditions. Sadly, many of them are unable to survive Delhi’s harsh summers and winters. They lack basic needs - food, clothing and shelter. Those who make it into their teenage years become victims of drug addiction and other severe forms of substance abuse. The Citadel Foundation intervenes in the lives of such children to combat hunger, drug addiction and harsh climatic conditions.

When you positively impact one life today, you are setting in motion an intergenerational transformation footprint that will outlive all of us.

As someone who has built and managed multiple teams while navigating high-pressure environments, I have personally experienced how easy it is to lose clarity and balance without the right guidance. In my own journey, I have seen that ambition alone is not enough, consistent mentoring and honest conversations are what truly shape direction & resilience. This is why the mentoring and counselling work at Citadel Foundation deeply resonates with me.

Having worked closely with individuals striving to grow, I understand how critical it is to have someone who listens without judgment and guides with intention. The Foundation’s approach of walking alongside individuals from different niche helping them stay focused, grounded & mentally strong reflects the kind of support I believe every individual deserves during defining phases of their life.
